| Shawn Lane Remembered Vol I | ||
![]() a tribute to Shawn Lane |
Released on May 16, 2004 - Lion Music LM organized a tribute to one of the best musician: Shawn Lane. I was happy to be part of this CD becasue I really like Shawn's playing and he influenced me a lot in the years. I met Shawn in 2000 during a show in Italy and it was amazing to stay with him talking about music and other things, he was so kind with me, he gave me some signed copies of his albums and we took some photos too; a great moment that I can't forget for sure. One of the albums he gave me was 'Temporal Analogues of Paradise' that is one of my favourite and before the 'second movement', there is the voice of Shawn that presents the band... and everytime I listen to that voice I always remember him and the time we talked... it is hard to explain by words but it is a great sensation. I recorded this song on February 2004 with the help of two of my friends: Alex Giuliani on drums and Daniele Amatori on bass. Thanks so much for your friendship, kindness and performance! |

2008 - to be released After working with Vitalij for the cover of his rock album Glacial Inferno, he asked me to make also the entire artwork (16 pages booklet + tracards) of his new classical album entitled '12 Months of the Year'. He had very clear ideas and the theme of the booklet was to represent every month with a great photo giving also the sense of the subtitle he chose for every month. It was a really hard and cool work, Vitalij and me are very happy of the result and all looks really good! Visit the official site: www.vitalijkuprij.com |

Released in January/February 2007 - Avalon Marquee/Lion Music In middle august 2006 my friend Vitalij wrote me for some updates and he was searching for someone for the artwork of his new solo album. I've been always intersted in graphic so I told him that I could do something and if he liked it was ok if not no problems for me, just a try if I had some ideas. I worked night and day on his main ideas with my ideas too and after about one week I submit to Vitalij some front covers to know his opinion. He was happy for that and it was so cool! Since the day he approved my work I started to work hard on all the album artwork for European and Japan versions and it was so cool to contribute in some ways!
